Your recovery is yours alone
The short version. ASHA PATH keeps everything on your phone. We do not collect, transmit, store, sell or share any of your information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no trackers and no advertising. We — the people who make ASHA PATH — never see your data, and neither does the clinic that gave you the app.
Who we are

What ASHA PATH stores on your device
So the app can be useful to you, it saves the following on your device only:
- A name or nickname you choose, and the reason for recovery you write.
- People you add, and any phone numbers you save for them.
- Your day count and milestones.
- Your check-ins, journal entries and notes.
- An optional passcode, if you set one.
This stays in the app’s private storage on your phone. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
What we collect
Nothing. ASHA PATH has no servers that receive your information, and the app has no networking capability at all — not disabled, absent. We use no analytics or crash-reporting kits, no advertising networks and no third-party trackers. We do not build a profile of you, and we never sell or share data, because we never have it.
If a clinic gave you this app
Nothing you write reaches them. There is no dashboard, no engagement report and no adherence figure — there is no channel for one to travel down. What you put in the app is yours, and stays on your phone.
Phone calls and meetings
When you tap to call someone, or open a helpline or a fellowship’s meeting finder, your phone makes that call or opens that link with its own apps. We are not part of that connection and do not log it.
Children
ASHA PATH is intended for adults (17+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone — including children — because we do not collect information at all.
Your control
Because your data lives only on your device, you are in full control of it. You can clear it by deleting your entries in the app, or remove everything at once by deleting the app from your phone. There is no account for us to close and nothing for us to delete on our side.
Security
Your information is held in your device’s protected app storage, and you can add an optional passcode or Face ID lock inside ASHA PATH. That lock has no recovery route — if you forget the passcode, the app’s contents cannot be recovered by us or by anyone. Keeping your phone’s own lock and software up to date is the best protection for everything on it.
Not a medical or emergency service
ASHA PATH is a wellness companion, not a medical device, and provides no medical or crisis services. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact a local emergency number or a helpline, or reach a person you trust.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of ASHA PATH ever introduces optional accounts or encrypted cloud backup, we will update this policy before that feature is available, explain plainly what changes, and treat any such information as sensitive health data under UK GDPR. The new policy will be posted here with a new date.
